Thank you very much for playing Alien Hazard! I'm sorry that the cursor doesn't lock to the player. That's something I couldn't fix because of limitations of the engine I used. When I realized it could be an issue, it was too late to give up, because the game was already half done. I had to move on and release it like that. About the highscore, it isn't the only goal. If you keep playing, even if you get continues, you'll reach the final level and fight the boss. If you defeat him, you get a different game over cutscene. Also the highscore obtained is always preserved.
I've received mixed opinions about the unusual controls. So it's unlikely I'll implement it in my next games, unless I find a way to lock the cursor to the player. Thanks again for the feedback! It's an honor for me to have a game reviewed by you.

Cheers! Yeah, I should've realized that there was a boss or end goal, but my brain just couldn't make the connection because of streamer debuff: sorry! Speaking of the boss fight, damn, he's a tough one, especially since he resets not just when you continue, but when you lose a life as well: kind of makes them pointless! I like the challenge, though, and while the control scheme did have some issues, I did like the novelty of its experimentation!

Thanks for playing Circuit Break! Kinda wanted to crawl in a hole and die when you stopped one room short of the new mechanics being introduced and you called it just more of the same, but it's a lesson in grabbing attention in the first precious few minutes.

Cheers! Haha, don't worry, the game was absolutely appealing enough that I got back into it pronto after the cameras were off, and boy did my eyes bulge out with delight upon seeing those cool boss enemies! Sorry I couldn't record that for you! And yeah, I can understand the frustration you must've had in deciding whether to start right where you left off or to give the player a bit of a runway to get back up to speed: based on the reception, I think it all worked out!

@FutureCopLGF it's always a balancing act, so we erred on the side of getting people comfortable with the (admittedly very complicated) base mechanics before throwing new stuff at them. Glad you went back to it! Your feedback gave me a lot to think about, a lot of lightbulbs have gone off in my head, so I gotta thank you for that!
