You're awesome! Thank you so much for reviewing the games!

Just goes to show what a massive month for games it’s been when you’re having to split your video in half!

Yeah, this month was absolutely crazy with 50 games: I was sweating bullets with the way the game list kept getting more and more entries added as the month went by, haha!

This is the first live review I've ever received on one of my projects. This is awesome, thank you.

Sorry if my game was confusing xD I'm pretty much new to the hobby of game development. I use Turbowarp. I should make the tutorial clearer and gameplay smoother. Sometimes, TurboWarp can cause bug due to lag for some people but you a normal time.

I think the big issue with my game is just clarity xD

Cheers! Hopefully I was able to provide some food for thought as I'd love to see future games from you: the vibes of Anxi's Carnation were really interesting!

Thanks for checking out Faith in Despair, even though card games aren't your cup of tea! Glad you found the UI intuitive and got at least a little enjoyment out of it. 🙂

Cheers! Looking back, part of me feels silly for not putting it in the top 10 as it was really impressive stuff, especially considering it won over someone like me! Argh, I'm so bad at ranking this stuff. Anyway, best of luck on its development and eventual Steam release!

Thank you for playing FUN HOME. The game is basically a tutorial or proof of concept for the full game (although, there may be more to it than it appears at first). But the game has been funded, and a much larger version will be available in a few months :)

Cheers! I'm glad to hear it got funded as it was a very nice prototype: looking forward to part 2!

Thank you so much for playing The Whicher 2! I enjoyed a lot watching your feedback, and i hope you came back to play again and get the other endings.

Regarding some notes you had:
-Yes, i loved your vocal accompaniment, heh
-The whicher's face changing at the end is a reference to Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill in the Witcher's Netflix series. I'm not a caricaturist but i did my best haha
-I saw the "evil within 2" joke by chance after i wrote that final speech, and i got really frustrated that whoever knew that clip would think mine's a ripoff. But this kind of stuff happens all the time in all arts and i decided to go through with it, regardless.
-The Dark Souls reference is from another ending, that wasn't played during the video

Anyway, i'm really glad you had fun playing. See you in FFJ26 maybe!

Cheers! Yeah, I went back to play all of the different routes shortly afterwards: a bit crazy that I somehow got the 'true' ending on my first try! Thanks for the insight into its development, and I'm glad my butchered rendition of 'Steel for Humans Silver for Monsters' worked out, haha!

hey btw is youtube OK with the levels of nudity from Courtroom69? i watched that one and realized you didn't censor it

Shh, don't let them know!

I guess we'll see what happens. Hopefully I don't need to reupload or anything. In truth, I've uploaded some other videos with even greater nudity and it wasn't caught, so I think I'm in the clear: perhaps I'm beneath their notice!

Very cool. Thank you. I'm happy you liked my game of course but most of all I just appreciate you taking the time to give such thoughtful feedback to so many games. It's very valuable I think.

Cheers! Hopefully it wasn't too painful to watch me mess up in Bounce Squad: once I was done recording and lost the streamer debuff, I was able to play a lot better and had tons of fun! Love me a good classic arcade game!

Really appreciate the video feedback! The timing of the feedback and real-time reaction and gameplay is really valuable information you're providing. Because of this, I now understand better how to tackle the issues with the game. Thank you!

Cheers! If there was one game that was really underappreciated this month, it'd be Based Defense, so I hope my love makes up for it! I went back and played it all the way to the end and I like some of the changes you've put in place for the menus and such!

I didn't comment on your post on my game but I just wanted to say thank you for playing my game and giving it a chance despite the problems of the web version! Your insights on your reviews gave me a lot to think on and will definitely me for future projects (or if I decide to make Dine in dungeon a full game)

And yes a lot of the features missing (different orders, grammar problems, etc.) was because of game jam constraints. but hearing all the positive comments despite all that has really motivated me for future projects. So thank you very much again!

Cheers! Hopefully you didn't get whiplash from hearing me be so rough on the game during recording and then totally shower it with love in the review after I went back and beat it! Really surprised me how it worked out so well despite all of the missing features. Would love to see more from ya!

@FutureCopLGF Thank you!

Thanks! I was hoping you'd get to the end, and I'm glad you got to see the updated menu. The distributed elements in the menus led to discontinued visual continuity which was hard for players to take in at a glance. The first blind playthrough was the easiest way to spot that flaw. Hopefully the change could reduce cognitive load and help onboard players faster.

There are still many ways I could improve the tutorial process. The learning experience has been cool.

It is really underappreciated. I guess the thumbnail isn't attractive enough? Thank you for the love, but what really made me happy was watching your reaction to the game. It seemed like you enjoyed it and people enjoying the game is very satisfying to me.

@FutureCopLGF Ranking creative projects is hard, as each project has their own merits. But it means a lot that you think it's impressive, so thank you!
