Cheers! I've certainly streamlined the process so it's more easier to do nowadays, but yeah, it still is a big commitment: thank god it's fun and there are lots of cool people that appreciate it (like you)!

If there will ever be any future updates, I will use an actual sidescrolling engine (I've learned how to make one just as I envisioned it originally) for Episode 1.
Haha, I was definitely pretty harsh, no doubt about it: I always like to think I'm delivering the 'harsh truth' that friends and family might not be able to provide, but sometimes I am afraid I overdo it and don't factor in certain elements. It was still quite a wacky trip and I hope to see more attempts from you in future!
Really love that you go through all the games every month, lists like these are hopefully getting more eyeballs on the best games!
Cheers, I hope so as well! Though I wouldn't be surprised if the general public's eyeballs bug out at seeing the run time, haha: at this point, it's mostly just for the devs to skip to their own games, but you never know!

Cheers! Wish I also recorded myself playing it post-recording as I did get better at it and it became less rage-inducing and more fun, haha! Definitely a case where I wouldn't blame you for thinking I hated it, only to be confused as to why I put it in the top 10. We'll see if I can get that treasure chest at some point!

Brutal honesty and in-depth feedback that friends and family might not be able to provide is something I try to go for (without being too insulting or anything, hopefully), so I'm glad I could provide that! I was probably particularly nitpicky since beat-em-ups are a genre I'm super passionate about: very much looking forward to future demos and the full release, which I'm hoping I helped develop somewhat!
