thanks for the review and feedback : )

Cheers, hope it helps in some way! Dodger test really surprised me with it's varied mechanics and progression: a good example of a game showing that graphics aren't everything.

Thanks a lot for the review and feedback :) we will try to fix these problems in our bigger game Law Blow (https://cheesyholes.itch.io/law-blow) which is still in development :) thanks so much

No problem: the game had a really neat story and the only real issue I had was the initial confusion of picking options, so once that's settled you're good. Looking forward to Law Blow!

I am coming out with a sequel to my frontpaged game The Zebra-Sitters Club soon (if I ever finish) where I think I worked a lot of issues people had. I hope it ends up on your list!

Thanks for playing Factions! Really helpful to see what someone's first time experience looks like - definitely some control tweaks that are needed :) There's only 12 levels so you made it most of the way there!

Also, you were asking about the slow-mo audio - just modify the pitch on your AudioSources in accordance with the time scale :)

Cheers; once I get a moment I'm definitely going to see if I can push through to the last level; so fun to move the little guys around!

And yeah, I was just starting to work on a slow-mo system for my upcoming game and wasn't sure what to do with the sound: I only had the physics and animators rigged for slow-mo so far. Shifting the pitch is definitely the way I'll go; thanks for the insight on that!

Oh I was going to make a update to the game monday, I guess I'm too late now haha

Ty for the review =) , I'm so glad you put ur time to make all these reviews :D

Haha, my bad; for what it's worth it seemed like the game was fine when I played it: didn't suffer any major issues that needed patching so it's all good in my book!

Oh btw, I want to make one thing clear, the reason why I keep the same graphics and some mechanics is just for coherence, so Chat 1,2 and 3 could feel like games from the same series. The Halloween game this year will have some major updates (and some of then thanks to you :D )

I always look forward to this!

@FuturecopLGF Cool! If you're curious how I did anything: https://github.com/maxbize/LD38-Factions (disclaimer - 95% of this was written for a game jam. It's not going to be pretty)

My Top 10 this month includes 2 duck games, so it was quite a rich month! But I missed Mission Ammunition somehow...

You're spot on with the Mars feedback! The objectives in First Job are a bit misleading, they're like the parameters of the 'next house', because they're in that spot. This actually opens up interesting ideas where the buildings we place can have parameters...

I'm glad I watched the Mars segment, it's more informative than the written review!
Thank you for the kind words!

I agree: I've actually been going back to play a bit more of Duck Waggle so I'm putting it in my honorable mentions. Argh, doing a top 10 is so difficult: there's so much criteria to think about that can change over time!

Glad to see the video helps: I always try to write down everything I experienced but yeah, sometimes some stuff like the quota UI placement talk slips my mind and is only in the video (though maybe that could be taken as a point that it wasn't too confusing since I got over it quickly).

Thanks for the review and the feedback ! :D

Thanks for review, don't forget to read description in order to know how to play the game, the're often indication on controls and else. :)

Haha, my bad! I've just had so many experiences where players don't read the description for controls and such that I feel I should do the same to showcase a worst-case scenario; you know, like viewing something in a vacuum. I'll think about it for the future!
