Holy crap man, that video is an insane amount of effort, even if you were having fun!

Thanks a bunch for playing my game (A heart apart), watching someone else play it like this is so helpful in understanding what is working & what is not. Additionally seeing people play a game I made really feels amazing; happy to see how far you made it!

Cheers! I went back and played it all the way to the end since I was able to get in a more trance-like state when I didn't have to talk, haha. Gameplay is really fun and mind-bending like that, and while it is tough, I like how you are given the chance to recover as long as you don't lose both of your hearts (something I don't think I comprehended initially). Loved how the ending is constructed so you actually clash the hearts into themselves to make them one again: very stylish!

Woah, this is awesome!! It’s really cool to hear people’s thoughts while playing—I love getting feedback and reviews, but beat-by-beat playthroughs give a really awesome insight into what choices evoked the intended response and how people react to those questions/game choices you already know the answer to!
This is my very second completed game (it really shows, haha), and the love is beyond unreal! I very much enjoyed your commentary on SweetCrush and the fact that you thought it was interesting makes my heart swell :)

Cheers! Hope you enjoyed my voice acting, haha. Sorry I wasn't able to play it through all the way in the video, though I did go back and play it through since I was so intrigued. I used to play games all the way through in my reviews but with the sheer volume of games being submitted, I had to reduce it to just 10 minutes. While a lot of people will probably knock it for being a DDLC-knock-off, I don't think that's giving you enough credit: the way you constructed the whole meta-interface with the game and the discord notifications and all that really screwed with my perception in a cool way that I think was awesome. It's like there were so many layers to the story: real inception stuff. For my first ending I couldn't help go with Ai in the end, haha, call me a sucker for robots I guess.

oh, and since I forgot to mention it:
I played final fharmacy for longer than I’d reasonably like to admit while I was putting off studying for finals

Glad you had a good time with it! Also, just got the other ending in SweetCrush. Ya got me good with those jumpscares, you devil! I hope people kept playing after the shutdown since the rest of it was very interesting. To be honest, I was tense for the whole call with Emily: I was so sure that Ai was going to find some way to hijack the call and talk to the player, or that it was Ai speaking all along since they had a similar theme of obsession with the protagonist. This game is great stuff: I like how short and sweet it is but this type of material is great and I could definitely see it being a full visual novel to fully explore the themes. Again, nice work!

Thanks for the advice, and for playing my game! Yes, it was an entry for the HaxeFlixel game jam. I made it with a couple friends after spotting the jam on the front page of Newgrounds, and I was doing web development at the time but figured that since I wanted to make a game anyway I should just jump right in at the deep end of game dev. I guess since I have little to no experience making games that there will be lots of bits missing from Ghost House, for instance I just managed to completely overlook those death animations for the spiders, however I did take care to try and make sure i engineer the player's experience, with subtle hints as to how I picture my game should be played, and after watching your gameplay I'm really glad those little nods came through :)

Cheers! Yeah, Ghost House was a pretty fun shooter. Hopefully I wasn't too harsh on it: it was a game jam game and I figured a new game as well so while it was a little simple, it still was put together nicely with cool touches like the hidden paths and plenty of room to grow. Looking forward to more!

Cheers! Party Land had a lot of goofy, funny charm to it, and I was impressed to see that it even had a boss fight to it that actually had a pretty decent pattern to it!

Cheers! Definitely seems like a pretty cool game once it gets going in the later levels where you're slicing and dicing all ninja-like through some evil corp. As always, for works for me might not always be the best for everyone else, but the premise does show a lot of promise that, with some streamlining of the pace and punching up of explosive effects could really turn out to be awesome!

Well, thanks for making so many great games! Last month was 4 games and this month was 3, and they've all had really cool, unique, experimental mechanics in them. Definitely a fan of 'em. Just don't burn yourself out making so many, both for your health and mine since I'm so jealous of your skills, haha!

Nice work on that one: very impressive simulator you put together in such a short time limit. I especially loved the presentation and graphics, which were very pleasing to the eyes in my book. While I think I griped a little about lack of direction and content (which is natural for game jam games), it still had a good sense of momentum with the build-up of ant abilities and doling out building materials bit-by-bit.

No wonder you need glasses when you punked your ass to make 9 and a half hour video of about 50 video game submissions.How long did it even take to upload all of that let alone edit it ´n´shiet?Your electric bill is gonna put your whole country into recession lol.

Haha, it definitely is a bit of work: every time I do it I try to streamline the process a bit more so it doesn't interrupt my other projects as much. Shame that I can't fully review the games as much as I used to and had to lower it to 10 minutes each, otherwise my eyes would be smoking craters by now, haha.
